As 2025 draws to a close, Lankelma reflects on a year of innovation, scale, and trusted delivery across the UK and internationally.

Throughout the year, we delivered advanced ground investigation solutions including multi-variable CPTs, piston sampling, and combined resistivity piezo-ball penetrometer testing as part of GISTM works, alongside true interval seismic testing integrated with UXO mitigation, improving safety and data confidence on complex sites.

2025 at a glance:

• 6,429 tests completed over 1,169 days on site

• Nearly 62 km of testing pushed

Our nearshore capability continued to strengthen with the introduction of the Shearwater JUB, alongside the maintained availability of the Sandpiper, ensuring two fully equipped jack-up barges fit for purpose. Both vessels were extensively deployed on projects along the east coast of the UK, with repeated mobilisations successfully managed through strong in-house expertise and a reliable supply chain.

Despite challenging weather conditions, our nearshore teams maintained a strong focus on HSE, professionalism, and quality, consistently delivering high-standard site investigations through to year end.
