Gain a comprehensive understanding of cone penetration testing (CPT) with Lankelma’s authoritative textbook, In-Situ Soil Testing. This valuable resource offers an in-depth exploration of CPT methods, the land, Nearshore, and marine applications of CPT and takes a deep dive into CPT equipment, including over 25 cone penetrometers, instrumentation devices, and samplers.
We operate an extensive fleet of CPT units, from track-trucks and tracked crawlers to mini crawlers and basement rams. Whether your site is greenfield, brownfield, rail, in a basement, an intertidal zone or within a flood or sea defence area, our resources can work within your environment.

Cone penetration testing has a low environmental impact and generates very little spoil. We aim to reduce waste in all our operations, choosing low-carbon technologies such as electric-hybrid CPT rigs where possible. Our offices have a 20kW Solar PV system to generate our own electricity and for over 10 years we have used a ground source heatpump for heating. We also have electric car charging points and we're trialling electric vans.
