Lankelma wins GE Award for CPT innovation

GE Awards 2017
Lankelma won the Equipment InnovationGEA17_WINNER_AwardEquipmentInnovation category at this year’s Ground Engineering Awards, recognising its work in developing better ways to gather high quality geotechnical data from Cone Penetration Testing for engineering design.

Lankelma Managing Director Eric Zon, said: “We have built a global reputation for our innovative approach to CPT and winning this award is a fantastic reward for the team’s hard work.”

Recent developments include a new way to improve pore pressure measurement reliability in soft soils; the lubricating module, which allows stiff clays to be tested at twice the depth than ever before, and a more accurate alternative to conventional downhole seismic testing, enabling elastic soil parameters to be derived at shallow depths.

Lankelma is holding an open day on 14 July at its office in Iden, East Sussex, which will include live demonstrations of its latest innovations. To book your place, email info@lankelma.com or call 01797 280050.
