Testing sand compaction at Great Yarmouth
The project involves the dredging of 1,600,000m3 of sand from in and around the harbour to allow the reclamation of around 17 hectares of land. Ground investigation to test the pre and post levels of compaction.

Testing Lime cement columns at Tilbury docks
Ground investigation involving CPTs, MOSTAP sampling  through previously installed lime cement columns, and pull-out resistance tests using a wing cone. The results obtained were used to determine the undrained shear strength (and so working strength) of the individual columns tested.

Waste pit in Berkshire, solution features,
Over 600 cone penetration tests: to profile solution features in chalk; and after the ground improvement was carried out, CPTs were used again for verification.

Gun Wharf Quays
