Embankment dam at Pundeavon Reservoir
Difficult access to the crest of the embankment dam together with a maximum crest of 2.0 metres, demanded a highly manoeuvrable and lightweight CPT thrust machine.
Monitoring the water table at Meriden Park
Ground investigation along a river embankment in Chelmsey Wood which included the installation of a standpipe piezometer for future monitoring of the water table.
Sea Wall at Dymchurch, Kent
Lankelma's excavator mounted CPT unit could be accurately manoeuvred over cored positions on the sloped part of the sea wall. Our rubber tracked 15 tonne crawler carried out CPTs on the beach.

Seismic cone testing to determine the depth of the sheet pile toe along the length of the western river wall.

This ground investigation involved piezocone and dissipation tests undertaken by the 'Bogskipper', our 8.5 tonne crawler unit.
River at Gainsborough
Using seismic testing from the cantilever frame, a ground investigation of the river bed beneath a sheet pile wall to determine depth to rock head and position of the pile toe.
Blackpool sea wall
UK2, the 21.5 tonne crawler unit was used to perform the CPTs. There was no real fear of getting stuck if the tide came in quicker than estimated, however at one point the ability to track through deep water was tested!
